Dr. Gerhard Werling's patient case

High-end mock-up with VITA ENAMIC® veneers

Step 1 Initial situation
Step 1 Initial situation

Step 1 Initial situation

The patient was very unhappy with the appearance of teeth 12, 11 and 22. She considered her anterior teeth to be too small. She was dissatisfied with the morphology and surface of tooth 11. She explained to us that "The tooth (11) has a crack and a hollow". The patient wanted her teeth to be improved esthetically.

Step 2

In such cases, we are happy to fabricate a high-end mock-up for the patient in order to demonstrate the result that they can expect.

VITA ENAMIC is particularly suited to this task. Thanks to high edge stability, the material is also ideally suited to very thin restorations.

Step 4

By fabricating the mock-up using a final material, it matches the achievable end result in terms of shape, shade and surface structure.

The patient and we as practitioners can then take the time to decide with confidence whether a restoration makes sense and whether it meets the expectations of our patient.

Step 9

If the patient is satisfied with the high-end mock-up and would like to have the restoration fitted accordingly, the significant benefit of non-prep restorations is that they can be further processed and seated immediately.

The patient was delighted with this end result and the veneers were permanently seated.
