In order to operate 2 or more VITA firing units with a VITA vPad PRO controller you will need a Switchbox (Part No. D65000). As an alternative, the VITA VACUMAT 6100 M and VITA SMART.FIRE ADVANCED units can be connected wirelessly in the multi-furnace control system. In this case, a Switchbox is not required.

Can you process other types of material with the VITA vPad?
Yes, alongside the firing programs for all VITA materials, there are also programs installed for other manufacturers. In addition, individual programs can be created and saved in the memory, if required.
Can the firing data be displayed and exported?
Yes, all the firing data is automatically saved in the background. You can use the VITA Firing Data System (FDS) PC software to manage the data with ease, and to export it if required. The software is available for free download from our website.
Can you also operate older firing units with the VITA vPad LITE/PRO?
Yes, the operation of older firing units is possible. Please be aware that an additional Power-Injector cable will be required for this.
How many firing units can you control using a VITA vPad?
Controlling more than one firing unit is only possible using the VITA vPad PRO. In this case, up to four firing units can be operated at the same time using a single vPad.
How do I update the VITA vPad software?
The latest software updates are available as downloads from our website, free-of-charge. We recommend signing-up to our update manager to ensure that you are always running the latest version of software. If you have an active internet connection, the vPad can also download and install the updates automatically.
