VITA VIONIC DENT DISC multiColor: Expansion of indications for fixed implant-supported dentures

Manually adjusting conventional denture teeth to an implant-supported framework is time consuming and does not necessarily result in components with a precise fit. All this is changing with the VITA VIONIC DENT DISC multiColor. As of February 2026, it is also approved for precise, CAD/CAM-assisted fabrication of dental components – on supporting frameworks made of titanium, cobalt-chromium, zirconia and PEEK – for fixed implant dentures. This expands the range of applications for the polychromatic, highly cross-linked composite disc, made from the proven VITA Microfiller Reinforced Polymer Matrix (MRP) — the same material used to manufacture all VITA Premium teeth for modern digital dentures.

Expanded range of applications

Thanks to the expanded indications for VITA VIONIC DENT DISC multiColor, users can now enjoy even greater flexibility in their digital workflow. In addition to the proven tooth fabrication for removable partial and full dentures, precisely fitting tooth elements can now also be designed and milled for use on supporting framework structures. This allows for an optimally adjusted layer thickness and a uniform bonding gap for fixed implant-supported restorations.

 

New possibilities for implant dentures

This means that the VITA VIONIC DENT DISC multiColor polychromatic composite disc opens up new functional and esthetic options for implant-supported restorations. The wide range of materials available for the supporting framework also expands the scope of therapeutic options. This makes it possible to find the right combination of materials for every clinical situation and every user preference.

 

Uncompromising quality

This inorganically filled, highly cross-linked PMMA material offers high abrasion resistance and excellent polishing properties. The integrated shade gradient ensures a natural appearance even in the esthetic zone. The material is compatible with all standard milling systems, and its simple and reliable processing ensures excellent results without compromise.
