VITA Powder Scan Spray
VITA Powder Scan Spray is a spray-on, blue coloured pigment suspension with mint aroma for intraoral application (tooth surface) as well as for extraoral use (plaster die / plaster model) for the fabrication of the opto-electronic impression for CAD/CAM restorations. With the VITA Powder Scan Spray, the tooth or model surface is mattened in order to obtain an optimum image with the intraoral camera (e.g. with Sirona CEREC 3 or CEREC AC) and/or with the scanner (e.g. Sirona inEos or Sirona inLab). VITA Powder Scan Spray makes it possible to achieve a homogeneous masking layer with precise reproduction of the contours. The blue shading facilitates the checking of the application. After scanning, VITA Powder Scan Spray can be easily removed from the tooth surface or the model using a water jet. VITA Powder Scan Spray, container 75 ml, incl. 2 irrigation cannulas. Prod. No. ECSCAN75

VITABLOCS RealLife® for CEREC®/inLab® MC XL
Natural CAD/CAM anterior esthetics in three dimensions
The innovative VITABLOCS RealLife were especially developed for highly esthetic anterior restorations. The three-dimensional block structure with dentine core and enamel coat imitates the curved shade transitions between dentine and incisal edge. Accordingly, VITABLOCS RealLife restorations may have more cervical or incisal proportions in accordance with the natural shade nuances of the residual tooth substance. The material of the VITABLOCS RealLife is the VITABLOCS fine-structure feldspar ceramic which has proven its clinical reliability a million times over.

Guide „Clinical aspects in the field of all-ceramics“
The two renowned authors, Prof. Dr. Gerwin Arnetzl and Dr. Gerwin V. Arnetzl, intend to support "thinking in ceramic dimensions" with their new, richly illustrated guide entitled "Clinical aspects in the field of all-ceramics". The publication that was initiated by VITA Zahnfabrik is available from VITA, ÖGCZ (Association of Computerized Dentistry of Austria) and from bookstores in English (No. 1696 EN) and in German (No. 1696 DE)(English: ISBN 978-3-00-029505-8; German: ISBN 978-3-00-029504-1).
The brochure offers an extensive and detailed overview of the subject of preparation of all-ceramic restorations: Initially, general preparation recommendations which are based on the fundamental physical principles and the biomechanical function of ceramic materials are clearly demonstrated. Then ceramic-specific preparation techniques for various indications - from anterior to posterior crowns, inlay and onlay up to the veneer are described in a step-by-step approach. Finally the reader receives instructions about adhesive cementation of restorations made of all-ceramics, which are based on a standard protocol for adhesive cementation of silicate-ceramic restorations, which was established by experts. The clinical procedure it outlined step-by-step using numerous illustrations. The brochure also contains tips for the fabrication of temporary restorations and a highly useful presentation of suitable preparation sets.
