VENEERING MATERIAL VITA VM 9 Natural fine-structure feldspar veneering ceramic for zirconium dioxide
substructures
VITA VM 9 was specially designed as a high-fusing, fine-structure feldspar
ceramic for ZrO2 substructures partially stabilized with yttrium in
the CTE range of approx. 10.5 (e.g. VITA In-Ceram YZ). The CTE is precisely adjusted to zirconium dioxide materials, which guarantees optimum bonding and absolutely reliable results. In addition to this, VITA VM 9 is ideally suited for individualizing: The
abrasion behavior of various ceramic materials in comparison to natural tooth
enamel was examined in a study performed by Giordano at the Goldman School of
Dental Medicine at the University of Boston. The best results were obtained with VITA VM 9, since, on account of its fine structure, it demonstrates the virtually ideal behavior of natural tooth enamel.
