Fine-structure ceramic for all-ceramic framework materials in the in the CTE range of 7.2-7.9

VITA VM 7 was developed as a special Veneering Ceramic with a fine structure for all-ceramic framework materials in the CTE range of 7.2 - 7.9 (such as VITA In-Ceram ALUMINA, SPINELL, ZIRCONIA as well as VITA In-Ceram AL for inLab).

Like all VITAVM materials, VITA VM 7 is distinguished by its light refraction and reflection properties resembling those of natural tooth enamel. The use of additional fluorescent and opalescent porcelains permits outstandingly individual, high quality results. 

In a study by Giordano at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at the University of Boston, the abrasion behavior of various ceramic materials compared to natural tooth enamel was researched. The best results were obtained with VITA VM 7, since their fine structure resulted in virtually ideal, enamel-like behavior.
